LOCATION: WAREHOUSE & CONSTRUCTION SITES

ROLE: COMMERCIAL FURNITURE INSTALLER & SITE PERSONNEL

We are looking for an Install & Site Personnel for our projects across Tasmania.

We’re seeking furniture installers & assembly specialists with construction and trade backgrounds.

If you’re a first-time installer, you’ll start by getting to know our manufacturers, subcontractor partners, clients and the broader Bentley team. It’s about connecting you with the entire process so you can learn and grow.

Day-to-Day

  • Being involved in our hero projects (Medium Scale Commercial Fit-out or Large Scale Furniture Installations)

  • Delivery & installation of workstation frames, desktops, screen & acoustic systems, seating, storage and custom joinery packages.

  • Sorting, loading and unpacking a wide variety of furniture items ready for dispatch & delivery.

  • Providing daily updates for the Projects & Operations team.

You will…

  • Be at the forefront of Bentley, representing the brand to on-site stakeholders & clients.

  • Be involved in product delivery & installation.

  • Work with a lean team that is focused on productivity & efficiency.

  • Be surrounded by people who are passionate about what they’re doing and are always willing to help you progress.

  • Understand the scope and project time frames.

  • Record daily site activities and update the Project Admin team.

  • Coordinate defect rectification.

  • Drive + initiate communications amongst the Projects Team.

You are…

  • A natural organiser who can handle trades, multiple deliveries and keep the sites safe, productive and on track to a seamless delivery.

  • Task-driven, methodological and organised.

  • Hands-on with superb attention to detail.

  • Able to plan ahead and identify potential risks and pitfalls.

  • Agile and quick to think on your feet.

  • Physically & mentally fit for manual tasks. It may require heavy lifting (abiding by the OHS requirements).

  • Great communicator and can work in medium-high pressure environments.

  • Reliable, responsible and respectful.

  • A great problem-solver, solutions-driven and takes initiative to do the right thing.

You have…

  • A can-do attitude and the mindset to succeed.

  • A trade (carpentry or electrical) background or relevant studies.

  • 2-5 years of experience working on construction sites with warehouse & logistics experience

  • Drivers Licence

  • White Card

  • To pass Police check

  • To obtain a medical check
